We convene industry specialists to work with their academic counterparts. then we provide actionable advice that can better prepare BIPOC and women students for green energy jobs

  1. We arrange positive public relations (PR) opportunities, craft positive stories featuring BIPOC and women students who have benefited from the internships, career exposure program, and organizational mentors.

  2. We organize virtual career fairs with industry panelists who reflect diversity and equity values.

  3. We design “career exposure” experiences from factory and farm tours to job shadowing and internship opportunities designed to enhance both career focus and academic motivation.

  4. We offer advice pertaining to open job descriptions to ensure the language is inclusive for BIPOC and women candidates.

  5. Offer opportunities for training and certificate programs to help up-skill current employees.

We design, in cooperation with industry specialists, career pathways that can be used by students to navigate a cafeteria-style set of offerings, so your time and money are used efficiently.

  1. Adapt career interest assessments, so students can make best use of their educational and experiential opportunities.

  2. Provide mentoring, career coaching, internship and job shadowing experiences.

  3. Craft pre-apprenticeship and apprenticeship opportunities.

  4. Identify micro-credentialing  opportunities (i.e., certifications, certificates and licensure) for students who are either unable to complete a degree or want an extra edge in the job market.
